BMW ActiveHybrid 3 is a Top Performer

BMW is one of the most influential automakers in the world. BMW periodically releases some fascinating models for auto market and they have several business divisions which are known for performance, such as M-Performance. Hybrid cars have become another speciality for BMW. They introduced ActiveHybrid few years ago and the ActiveHybrid 3 is an exclusive continuation of the series. It has some impressive performance figures and after wrapping off the BMW 1-Series and M135i in 2013, BMW has decided that time is now in favour of ActiveHybrid 3 to be initiated. They have taken an initial step by publicising some performance details and official images of the vehicle.   It is the first ever Hybrid out of the 3-series and in the Hybrid line-up of BMW known as the ActiveHybrid 3. In the past, BMW was exclusively focusing on the fuel economy of its vehicles and in the case of Hybrid vehicles, they are exclusively being made to cut down fuel figures with the lower power uses, but this time German automaker is doing differently. The ActiveHybrid 3 is powered by 3.0 Litre l-6 engine.       BMW engines are well admired for their performance and this six cylinder engine has the same roots, producing 306 hp and further helped by an electric motor of 55hp, powered by a lithium-ion battery pack stated under the boot of the vehicle. Totalling the 340 hp, the power produced by this entire system, can push the ActiveHybrid package on the road very aggressively, from zero to 62 miles per hour in just 5.3 seconds. This Hybrid active system keeps pushing the vehicle till it hits the electronically controlled speed of 155 miles per hour. Battery pack has the travel capacity of 3 miles out of a full charging cycle. Fuel economy is bar at fifty plus miles per gallon but it is still subjected to advancements and hope it will deliver utmost performance when it makes its debut on the road.
